This was a breaking change that occurred quite some time ago, but was deprecated slowly from version 11. It will not be possible to use nested content in any modern version of Umbraco.  

So if your site is built using nested content, you’re going to have a bit more of a time of upgrading to Umbraco 13 or 14.

You’ll need to convert your content to bullet lists or grids, and then create corresponding elements using Umbraco’s Block List Editor or Block Grid Editor.
